Requires sufficient Mandarin/Chinese competency and content knowledge; timely grade entry, parent communication, lesson planning and delivery, scope and sequence documentation, accreditation and UC documentation preparation, professional and personal collaboration, use of relevant and emerging technologies, and more.

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field. Mandarin/Chinese single subject credential or equivalency.

Math Teacher:

Level/Dept: High School

Math Teacher will help student review pre-algebra, geometry, integers, factions, and equations for 3 weeks.  Working in small groups helping them keep up their math skills or learn math problems to get them ready for next school year.

Physics/Math Teacher:

  • Regularly review/update department and course curriculum guide/maps to assure the fulfillment of proper instructional priorities and pacing

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials in a manner that facilitates active learning, effectively utilizing the basic elements of instruction; including but not limited to presentation of content, questioning techniques, responding to learner input and arrangement of learning activities.

  • Demonstrate the spiritual maturity, academic ability, and personal leadership qualities to inspire student learning, including the understanding of the knowledge and characteristics of the age group taught

Position Details:

United Faith Christian Academy is seeking full-time and part-time teachers for the 2019-2020 school year to fill positions within our school. The successful candidate will be a strong Christian whose faith is reflected in their teaching; teachers who love Jesus and love teaching. As a role model for students, teachers must display and confess a consistent walk with Jesus Christ, as evidenced in speech, actions, attitude, and lifestyle. Requirements include, but are not limited to:

  •          Minimum of a BA or BS degree

  •          Previous full-time teaching experience preferred, but not required

  •          If hired, teacher must pursue a teaching certificate through ACTS (Association            of Christian Teachers and Schools), as a requirement of our accreditation.
