Music Teacher, Part-Time: 
Ambleside School, a Christ-centered school is seeking a dedicated instructor of Music for students from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Kodaly training and experience is highly preferred. Position is part-time, two days a week or it can be combined with other part-time positions to be full-time. Salary range is $14,000 to $15,000 depending on experience. Teacher is responsible for the general instruction of music as well as three performances a year – Veterans Day, Christmas, and Shakespeare Festival. Bachelor’s degree is required. Math Instructor:
Ambleside School, a K-8 school is currently recruiting a part-time Algebra/Pre-Algebra teacher. Ambleside is a Christ-centered school using the Charlotte Mason methodology. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree and profess faith in Christ. Applicants should have at least an undergraduate degree in a math-related field or Algebra teaching experience. Applicants should demonstrate willingness to be trained in the Charlotte Mason approach to education.  

The teacher is required to instruct one hour in the morning, five days a week. Outside of instruction time, the teacher is expected to prepare lessons and evaluate student work, meet with parents or students if needed, and attend a monthly math meeting and other required school events. Salary is $11,000. The position is ideal for a graduate student, professional with a flexible morning schedule, or someone interested in teaching math and wishes to gain classroom experience. Position Details:
CPC is seeking a full-time secondary instrumental music instructor with demonstrated strengths in conducting band (middle school, high school, Jazz Band, Pep Band, etc.). The successful candidate will be a strong Christian whose faith is reflected in their teaching. Teaching credentials are preferred, but not required for some specialist areas.

CPC believes that the basis of all teaching is God and His Word. Education is never neutral, just as teachers never are. The curriculum and the teachers at Cedar Park Christian Schools are decidedly different from public schools in that Christian Truth is the basis of all courses. Our desire is that each child accepts Jesus Christ as his/her personal Lord and Savior. A central goal is to nurture and train each child so that they grow in godliness of character and action. A full range of high academic core and elective classes are offered, as well as extracurricular activities including athletics, robotics, fine arts, etc. Concurrent college credit may also be earned in select high school courses.
 
CPC was founded in 1982 by Dr. Joseph Fuiten, senior pastor of Cedar Park Assembly of God Church. Cedar Park Christian Schools are located on five campuses in the Greater Seattle area: Bellevue, Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, and the main campus in Bothell, serving approximately 1,650 students from preschool through grade 12. The school opened with eight preschool students and has grown to become a district of two high schools, three middle schools, four elementary schools, and four preschools. Our student body represents over 200 different churches.
 
As a ministry of Cedar Park Church, the school's organizational structure utilizes a School Advisory Board, Superintendent model, with the Church Board of Directors being the ultimate decision-making authority.
